We will be reading and praying with the book Simple Faith.
Best-selling author Margaret Silf believes that faith is not about mastery but about mystery, and that living in that mystery allows us to properly shift our focus from religion to relationship—a relationship with the Divine.
In Simple Faith, Silf encourages us to rethink many of the teachings on faith that may be holding us back from the joy and freedom that can be found only in a meaningful experience of God.
Open to all. No previous participation with Ambernest is necessary.
The themes in the book will be introduced and you will have the chance to meet others who will share the experience with you.
— Wednesday Evening, Oct 3rd, 7-9pm
We will gather together to discuss and process individual experience as well as explore themes in the book such as God as Love, mystery in life of faith, and finding Jesus in the Gospels. We will meet in large and small groups and also observe times of silence and reflection.
— Friday Evening Nov 16th 7-9pm & Saturday Nov 17th 9am-4pm
Feel free to invite friends and enjoy the experience together!
Please register by Monday September 24th.
