For those wanting weekly guidance for prayer, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola offer scripture and readings as one journeys through creation and the mystery of sin, and then with Jesus through his life, passion, and resurrection. Individuals engage in daily prayer with guidance and weekly individual sessions with a spiritual director.
This prayer journey begins in September and finishes in May. There is a monthly charge for spiritual direction, and requires an application process.

Individuals have an opportunity to get away on a Friday and be in silence for the day. Guidance is given for the time in silence and prayer. The day is spent alone either inside or outside where there are places to walk and many seating areas to enjoy.

Christian Spiritual Direction is the ancient practice of listening with another for the voice and movement of God in one’s life. It offers companionship in the most important, intimate area of one’s life; exploring the inner landscape where one receives and responds to the God who is Love. It is a gentle practice, where a trained director spends one hour monthly with a person who is seeking.
